Jitske Habekotté is a visual artist and indie game developer located in the Netherlands.
They obtained their master’s degree in 2019 and in 2018 they started their own game development company; SkogsArt Studio.
Currently, they are working on an original game project while also participating in multiple initiatives that aim to make game development a more inclusive and ethical industry.

Ciara is an Irish-German 3D environment artist specialising in photogrammetry and organics currently based in Germany. They graduated Breda University of Applied Sciences with a First Degree Honours in Visual Art in Games Architecture and Design and have been working in the industry for almost three years.
They have always been passionate about storytelling and creating immersive worlds in games as well as striving to improve the game industry in ways that better reflect the people playing them.

Kate Edwards is the Executive Director of the Global Game Jam, as well as the CEO and principal consultant of Geogrify, a consultancy which pioneered content culturalization. She is also the former Executive Director of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) from 2012 to 2017. In addition to serving in several board and advisory roles, she is a geographer, writer, and corporate strategist. Following 13 years at Microsoft, she has consulted on many game and non-game projects for BioWare, Google, Amazon, Facebook, LEGO, and many other companies. Besides being awarded by several organizations for her advocacy work in the global game industry, she was honored at GDC 2020 with the Ambassador Award at the Game Developers Choice Awards. In August 2021, she was included in the Forbes’ “50 Over 50” Vision List as one of 50 veteran women selected from a wide variety of industries, and in September 2021 was inducted into the Women in Games Hall of Fame.

Mata is a writer and game designer with over twenty years’ experience of both AAA and indie development. They are the Professor of Creative and Entertainment Games at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas), and the owner of the narrative and game design consultancy Copper Stone Sea. They have spoken regarding game design, diversity, and narrative design at many international events, including multiple GDC and Develop conferences, and regarding ethics in AI for TedXDelft. Recently, Mata has consulted on writing, design, and creative direction on multiple AAA and indie titles. They contribute to national and international research/education policy, several non-profit boards, guilds, and societies, and are also working on original creative projects.
